Can you help us with SEO?
Yes, we can. We design and develop every website we build with SEO in mind. Core technical optimisation considerations such as site speed, URL structure, sitemaps, and meta-data come as standard with all of our new build websites. But don’t worry; if we didn't build your website we can still help ensure your website performs at its technical and structural best to increase it’s relevance and ROI. Find out more here and get in touch with us to discuss a bespoke SEO package.
Do you offer training to ensure all relevant team members can use the CMS?
Yes, this is often one of the final parts of the project before it goes live and if it is something that you will require, we will factor it into the timeline and costs. It’s really important that everyone who will be using the CMS is comfortable with how it works and has a chance to use it. We also offer 90 days post go live support, giving our clients the reassurance that they can get help should they encounter any issues.
Do you only build websites?
No, we can build many different web-based solutions. Our Solutions range from enterprise level websites to promotional microsites, customer portals and web apps. If you don’t find what you are looking for then our bespoke development offering could be for you – if you can dream it, we can build it!
How can we keep our website updated and secure?
Regular technical maintenance is an under-appreciated element of running a successful website. Investing time and resources into your website's security is crucial. In the same way that your mobile phone operating system and apps require regular updates, so does your website. We offer maintenance plans to perform these updates regularly to keep your website safe, secure and speedy, providing you with peace of mind and one less thing to worry about!
How do you communicate and share updates during a project?
We have different methods of communication depending on the project, where in the project we are, and what it is that we need to communicate. Our most regular methods of communication will include email, online calls, and face-to-face meetings. We will also use a combination of other methods such as Jira or Asana for timeline and milestone management, Sketch or Figma for reviewing and commenting on design and we share a private link to the build for review in a web browser.
How much does a maintenance plan cost?
The costs for website maintenance vary considerably depending on factors such as the size of your website, the volume of traffic, the content (videos, static imagery, search functionality etc), reporting and the level of service. For us to provide you with an accurate quote, we’d love to discuss your requirements. Then we’ll put together a bespoke package to meet your needs.
Tell us about your environmentally conscious web hosting.
We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously so this is really important to us. We tune our hosting for each site or application to ensure high performance at the lowest possible energy consumption. This means that as well as being fast, secure and robust, our web hosting is also environmentally conscious. And, for each hosting package you buy, 25 trees are planted and where possible we ensure that power comes from renewable energy sources.
We don’t think we need a new website, we just need the one we have to work harder. Can you help?
Of course! We will spend time with your team to understand what you are looking to achieve. Following this phase, we’ll take a look under the hood of your current website, assess how feasible it is to incorporate the changes and recommend a plan of action. Depending on our findings, we will recommend whether a rebuild would achieve a longer term fix with better results, or if we can easily add the functionality required to the existing structure.
We require a multi-language site for international markets. Is that possible?
Absolutely. We will explore the details of language and location requirements during the discovery phase of the project. This will help us to understand the implications of the requirements including difference in content, style, product offerings, audience and more.
What are discovery sessions?
In short, discovery sessions are an opportunity for us to get a deep understanding of your project goals and desired outcomes. During this period of analysis and research, we hold a series of discovery sessions with the relevant stakeholders and team members. These provide the opportunity to explore what project success looks like and allow us to detail how this success will be achieved. These are hugely valuable sessions and, in our experience, projects where time has been invested in discovery have the best outcome.
What happens if our business changes direction and we need our website to reflect those changes?
It’s always possible to make changes. When we build websites we always factor future proofing into the build making it easier to make changes as required. Examples could be implementing a rebrand, adding pages or adding functionality. If we didn’t build your website, we will take a look under the hood, see if it is possible to make the changes you require and make recommendations based on our findings.
What is a CMS-driven website?
A Content Management System, or CMS is a software application that makes creating and managing digital content easy. The great part about a CMS-driven website is that the interface provides a really easy way to manage website content, structure and page layouts. This means your marketing or web management team can update content without the need for developer intervention.
Will our website meet accessibility standards?
Meeting Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are important to us and standard across our website builds. If we didn’t build your website, we offer a consultation service to help you identify and make changes to meet these guidelines.
