Building an elevated online presence for Forensic Analytics

Forensic Analytics appointed us to redesign their website, seeking a partner who could deliver standout design and functionality while reflecting their expertise and position in the digital forensics market.

Forensic Analytics required a market-leading online experience that reflected their expertise, professional standing and upward trajectory.

The Brief

The brief was to create a website that showcased Forensic Analytics' unparalleled solutions and expertise, highlighting the impressive results their tools achieve for customers whilst reinforcing the professionalism that sets them apart from their competitors. The new site needed intuitive navigation, a clear narrative and the flexibility to support their growth into international markets.

Forensic Analytics required a market-leading online experience that reflected their expertise, professional standing and upward trajectory. The site had to guide users through discovery, awareness and sales journeys with a cohesive and succinct structure, illustrating how their products fit together. To support this, seamless CRM integration was essential, with data flowing directly to this third-party platform. A flexible and easy-to-manage CMS was required too, enabling their marketing team to keep the site up to date and to create new pages independently.

Our new website is light years ahead of our previous one in terms of design and usability so many thanks for that. We’re also really enjoying working with Statamic.

Our Solutions

Discovery

We conducted a series of discovery sessions with key team members to understand what success looked like for individuals, departments and the business as a whole. These sessions strengthened our relationship with the team and provided valuable insights to guide the project. From these sessions, we produced a detailed specification, timeline and project briefing document.

Strategy development

We started by focusing on the user, identifying the target audience and creating user personas to better understand their needs and design effective journeys. The website was structured to drive awareness, lead generation and growth, with an accompanying search engine strategy to help attract the right traffic. Our strategy, shaped by the initial discovery sessions, provided clear direction and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.

UX, prototyping and design

We created a modern, user-friendly website for Forensic Analytics, reflecting their expertise. The process began with design examples and competitive analysis, followed by an iterative approach to refine the designs. We developed mood boards and created interactive wireframes. We established a design system that keeps elements such as typography, buttons and navigation consistent, with flexible blocks for easy page creation.

Web development and deployment

We developed a fast, scalable and user-friendly website using Statamic, a secure and flexible CMS built on the Laravel framework. Statamic offers flexibility, SEO optimisation, fast load times and an intuitive interface, ensuring an outstanding user experience. We adhered to industry best practices, maintained our strict coding standard and conducted comprehensive browser compatibility testing, ensuring high performance via rigorous automated and manual quality assurance processes.

On-site SEO and analytics

To ensure search engines can easily consume the site content, we considered content and keywords, titles and typographic hierarchies, tags, link structure, URL structure, accessibility best practices, well optimised media and site design. Google Analytics 4 was installed, providing detailed insights into user behaviour. The result is a site that performs technically well, supporting Forensic Analytics marketing efforts.

Hosting

Our hosting approach was focused on security, scalability and performance by isolating the CMS from site pages, allowing it to handle high traffic with ease. We also prioritised sustainability by selecting data centres powered by green energy sources, reducing environmental impact.

Completion

Upon completion, we conducted User Acceptance Testing (UAT), during which we invited the Forensic Analytics team to test the site and provide feedback. Following this, we held a live training session to ensure full understanding of the CMS and its functionality. Once we received the final go-ahead, we made the site live.

Website support and maintenance

After the website went live, Forensic Analytics opted for a tailored support and maintenance package. This package provides regular software updates, security patches and proactive monitoring. We offer 24/7 uptime monitoring, monthly performance reviews and access to a secure online support portal for assistance.

Results

We successfully delivered a market-leading website that Forensic Analytics can be proud of. The site not only performs well technically but also supports Forensic Analytics marketing goals by driving relevant traffic and enabling data-driven decision-making. The Statamic CMS is an excellent fit and allows the team to easily keep the site up to date, supporting their future goals and growth.
